South
America is so full of wonders that it is nearly impossible
to list all possible highlights. In the following pages we
will try to take your hand in a journey that spans many centuries...Experience
history as glorious temples and ruined, jungle covered
lost cities appear in front of your eyes. Walk
in the rainforest to admire the splendid orchids and bromeliads
and listed to the "chant of nature". Revel
in the sophistication of cities like Rio de Janeiro,
Santiago and Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America. Go
whale and penguin watching in southern Argentina.
To this continent we offer a wide range
of touring possibilities as archeological
treasures are unearthed each day reflecting many of the oldest and some of the
most cultured civilizations which existed long before Christ.
The land is awesome: majestic, snow-capped
peaks in the Andes mountains, lush and impenetrable jungles in the north, sweeping desert plains
on the west, the
Atacama Desert, acknowledged as the driest
desert on the planet, its sands hiding archaeological treasures and one of the richest copper mines in the world.
The true force of nature makes itself
known in Patagonia. The surprising cold-temperate jungle with its
araucaria forests give way to the Patagonian steppe while the territory
fragments into tiny islands, fjords, channels, lakes and glaciers. It is
one of the few places left on earth where pioneers and legends still
coexist within a surreal landscape - it is the end of the world - where
the Andes disappear into the sea.
And there is more: from the South Pole,
which can be visited for a few weeks during the summer months, to Easter
Island, lost in the immense pacific Ocean. From the revelry of New Year to
the fantastic celebration of Carnival, Brazil acts as the most festive of
these countries, a magic land where drumbeats call everyone to worship or to revel with contagious rhythms that sets everybody dancing.
All of this and more makes South America
an incredible destination and a visitor's must!
